Little Heroes Prague 5

We are preparing new nursery (Prague 5). In a family environment full of Montessori aids and toys, we prepare little heroes for life in the big world. Our programme is bilingual, so children from the age of one, the period in which they are linguistically most receptive, can get to know a language that is different from their mother tongue.

Sára Benešová the headmistress
My work reflects experiences from all over the world. In Italy I understood the importance of an individual approach, while in Switzerland I realised the importance of promoting children's independence. I believe that each of us has areas in which we excel and these areas can often be the key to developing even the lesser strengths. I am excited about the opportunity to work in an environment where each individual's individuality is respected and supported. My goal at Little Heroes is to make the transition of a little hero from the arms of a parent to a playgroup as easy as possible, and to create an environment where children have the opportunity to develop according to their individual needs.
Karolína Svatková nanny
I am a trained nurse with extensive experience in caring for children of different ages. I gained this experience during my work experience in children's wards in many hospitals. I approach my work with love, patience and understanding for all the needs of your little ones. It gives me great joy to watch children learn new things every day.
Ing. Adéla Pěnkavová nanny
I graduated from university with a degree in medicinal plants, but my absolute passion is childcare and child development. During my studies I had the opportunity to work as an au pair in various countries including Spain, Portugal, USA and Costa Rica. These experiences allowed me to learn about different educational methods and approaches to children. Some of them have inspired me, while others have shown me how it should not be. I also spent a few months as a caregiver in a children's club in an Austrian hotel, where I enjoyed creating programs and playing and creating with the children. I believe it's important to be an equal partner for children, showing them that the world is a safe place, that it's okay to be yourself and to show your emotions. I love helping children discover the world around them and understand how things work, while always honoring the individuality of each child.
Vasylyna Bihun nanny
I am a conscientious, polite, and trustworthy person and have enjoyed, and learnt from, the different roles I have experienced so far in teaching. My qualification is a teacher of English and French. I believe that teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning. After graduation I moved to London and used to work in high school and college in the UK. I like children and excited to share the experience I gained in the United Kingdom and Ukraine in Little Heroes.
Kateřina Jirásková nanny
My younger brother, whom I have taken care of since his early childhood, brought me to work with children. I am very interested in working in a Montessori environment because I believe that children are really happy here and are in a safe environment with guides who give them their full attention. This allows the children to develop at their own pace, discovering the world naturally while learning values such as respect for others, independence, respect and kindness.
Petra Kolibová nanny
My original profession is midwife and I have worked in Prague's maternity hospitals for most of my professional life. After my own experience with my 3 children, I found out how preschools and especially the people who take care of children there have a great influence on the formation of their personalities and can contribute significantly to their development. I have come to realise that working with children is fulfilling. I am friendly and responsible. I I would love to be your children's guide in exploring the world and I believe that every day spent with children will be a unique opportunity to learn and grow for them and for me.
Romana Benešová nanny
I have been working with children for many years. My hobby is creative and artistic work, that's why I first decided to organize occasional art courses for children. After a few years, I took a nanny retraining course and started working with children intensively. I feel happy and safe in the company of young children, and I love to create the safe environment is for them as well. Children are a great inspiration for me and thanks to them I can see the world again through children's eyes and experience new adventures. Natural support, respect and understanding are the aspects that guide me in my work. I lead children to independence and responsibility, because just like us adults, children also want to keep their lives in their own hands, although for now with our natural support.

I have always dreamed about being a teacher in the kindergarten and possibly open one kindergarten on my own. I can say my dreams come true and preschool pedagogy became my life mission. I worked as a nanny, tutor of interest groups, kindergarten teacher, kindergarten director and founder of my own kindergarten. During my university studies I encountered Maria Montessori pedagogy which completely won me over for its kindness and simplicity. I use its principles on daily bases to rise my son, work with parents, work with teacher´s teams and directors of kindergartens and children´s groups.
